IRV Design is a reflection of Nick Swift’s passion for creativity in the physical world. His journey with ceramics began in Lafayette, IN, where he honed his skills at the Lafayette Art Museum. As he moved to Connecticut, his practice evolved through work in multiple studios, eventually finding a home at Junk Pot Studio in West Hartford, CT. For Nick, ceramics is more than a craft—it’s a tangible expression of his ever-evolving artistic style.

Inspired by nature, each of Nick’s pieces is thoughtfully crafted and one-of-a-kind. What started as an effort to refine the weight of his pottery has grown into an exploration of surface design, texture, and movement. He continues to experiment and develop his work, always seeking new ways to bring his vision to life.
